CBSE regularly issues circulars on curriculum, examinations, affiliation, teacher training and school safety. Missing one can mean a missed deadline or an avoidable compliance issue.
Rather than repeat circulars here - which change often - this page explains where to find official updates and how to build a simple routine so your school never misses what matters.
Where CBSE publishes updates
CBSE main website
General circulars, notices, examination information and press releases.
CBSE Academic
Curriculum for each year, academic circulars, sample papers and teacher training notices.
SARAS portal
Affiliation applications, manuals and affiliation-related circulars.
Your school login
Board communications specific to your school.
A simple monthly routine
- Assign one person (often the examination or academic coordinator) to check official CBSE websites every week.
- Keep a circular register: date, subject, action needed, owner and deadline.
- Share a short summary with staff at the monthly meeting.
- At the start of each session, download the new curriculum and check what has changed from last year.
- Review the Mandatory Public Disclosure page on your website at least each term to make sure it is current.
What to track through the year
- Curriculum released for the new session
- Registration and data submission deadlines for board candidates
- Practical, internal assessment and board examination schedules
- Teacher training and CPD programmes
- Affiliation and extension-of-affiliation windows
- Safety, well-being and other compliance circulars
